SORRY SOLD: 1950 FORD-F1-PICKUP is with out a doubt one of the most desirable to own. The restoration was performed in Grant Oregon. Most of the parts came from Bob Drake, a well known supplier of Ford parts in Grant’s Pass. To mention some interesting items that you may be thinking about, let me start with the new suspension, king pins, drag link, center link, pitman arms and ball joints. Next the new brake drums and shoes etc. As far as the body goes I have not seen any bondo or rust, which doesn’t surprise me, considering where it came from. The paint is the original color and about an eight. The chrome and stainless is nice. The interior is very nicely done. The seat at first glance looks to be replaced as original, until you realize that the area that you sit on is a great looking fabric, “no more sticking to the old bench seat. The transmission is the original 3speed on column. The motor has 1500miles on it and runs like new it’s a 239ci Flathead V-8 with manuals. Some of the things that are not stock:AM FM radio even though it looks stock, dual exhaust ,radiator overflow seat belts and seat covering.(vinyl and cloth combo)Other cosmetic items in this category are the polished stainless steel bed strips and grill.Any way you cut it this is one fine running, great looking ride!
